“Not half bad” at all! Florence looks like it’s treating you well. Thick with tourists, yes, but it can get a lot worse. Glorious weather, from the look of it. I was surprised to see people so bundled up! So many things to see all around, I imagine at the end of the day your paddling furiously back to your hostel like that duck in the Fountain of Neptune. I loved the heron standing watch by the trident. And I’m v. happy you paid a visit to Michelangelo’s David. I hope it was worth the pilgrimage.
